The Recycling Center is located behind the Sanitary Engineering Administration office.
The center is open during regular business hours.
Monday-Friday, 6:30 am to 6 pm
Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm

What do we take for recycling?
- #1 & #2 Plastics
- Aluminum Cans
- Steel Cans
- Cardboard
- Glass (all colors)
- Newspapers
Please rinse containers and discard the lids.
Crush the cans, boxes and plastic containers.
Any CLEAN aluminum foil should be packed in steel cans like coffee cans.
Items NOT taken:
- windows
- ceramic materials
- plastic insulation
- #3 - #7 plastics
- Styrofoam
- NO liquids
- NO hazardous materials
You can also bring your household batteries to the Recycling Center for proper disposal. There are containers for the different types of batteries. Any batteries with a voltage of 1.5 or higher should have the terminals taped.
Lead acid batteries are taken through the transfer station. There is a charge by weight.
