Transfer Station Hours:

Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6 pm
Saturday from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm
Sunday closed

Transfer Station RATEs:
Charges for refuse are $57.05 per ton plus $4.75 per ton OEPA Fee which is approximately 3 cents per pound.
There is a minimum charge for 200 pounds or under.
Payment can be made either by cash, check, Visa or MasterCard.

Surcharges include:
Passenger tires - $3 per tire plus weight
Truck tires - $6 per tire plus weight
Farm tires - $20 per tire plus weight
Low Density Surcharge - $16.50/ton X Difference in Minimum & Actual Weight
Labor for Digout - $65 per hour
Lead Acid Batteries – taken through the transfer station and charged by weight.
Pay as you Throw Program – buy 5, 30 gallon trash bags for $6.00. Bring full bags to a drop site in the  Recycling Center.
Vehicle Weigh - $10.00
Returned Check fee - $35.00
Freon Filled Appliances - $10 per appliance
Spill Cleanup - $40 per hour plus material, equipment and disposal

Other Programs:
Lead Acid Batteries - These batteries are taken and charged by weight at the Transfer Station.
Pay as you Throw Program - $6.00 for 5, 30 gallon trash bags. Bags may be purchased at the scales house.
Yard Waste - Charged by weight.
Household Hazardous Waste - The drop-off event for 2012 will be September 15th from 8 am until noon. $1/pound charge.
Electronics Recycling - The drop-off event has already occured for 2012. Goodwill stores in Piqua and Troy will take electronic items. Call the store for more information. The Transfer Station will take electronic items from residents during regular operating hours at the standard tipping fee of $61.80/ton or ~ 3 cents/pound.
Latex Paint Program - The Transfer Station will take latex paint from residents during regular operating hours at the standard tipping fee of $61.80/ton or ~ 3 cents/pound.
